Nakayasu Ryokan is near Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, Oumicho Market and the old "Entertainment District" (Higashi Chaya District), about a 10 min. ride by bus or taxi from JR Kanazawa Station.  It is a Ryokan (Japanese Inn) so instead of beds you sleep in warm and soft futons on the tatami floor. Guests can relax in the public baths which feature lavender and chamomile herbal baths. Free Wi-Fi and massage services are available.  Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms while others rooms share a toilet (depending on price) Free bicycles are available for guests to tour the city. Photocopying and luggage storage services are provided at the front desk.  Japanese dishes featuring seasonal and local ingredients are served at the dining room.
