Nishiyama Ryokan is a family-run Ryokan with 30 guest rooms in a 5-story building. It is located in the heart of Kyoto, and at the center of the city's major sightseeing points. Historically, it was built in Kyoto to help welcome visitors from around the world as Registered Tourist Hotel by Government (Japanese Style) when the Osaka Japan World Exposition was held in 1970. Guests will be served fresh, seasonal Japanese-style cuisine. For guests staying more than 1 night, Nishiyama Ryokan offers free "yukata" (traditional Japanese summer robe).
