After breakfast we will board a Limousine Bus and ride it to Takayama through the Japanese Alps. Once we arrive in Takayama we will leave our luggage at the Japanese Inn we will be staying at and then take a stroll through the "Old Town" of Takayama. "Old Town" is filled with many different kinds of interesting shops but known for it's Sake Breweries which we will be visiting also. If there is time, you may also want to visit Takayama's "Float Exhibition Hall" where they store Japanese Style Floats they use during Takayama's two popular festivals, one in the spring and one in the Autumn.

Ride through the Japan Alps from Matsumoto to Takayama
Takayama (Area): Takayama is a town in the "heart" of the Japanese Alps known for its "Old Town", "Traditional Japanese" style feel and famed for the high quality of its traditional crafts. The remoteness of the town allowed it to develop it's own unique culture.
Harada Sake Brewery (Museum): One of the more famous sake breweries in Takayama, Harada Sake Brewery offers an excellent "Sake Tasting" opportunity for only 200 yen! Sit down, relax and enjoy the sake in this traditional brewery.
Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall (Museum): The Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall is a "Hall" at the Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine that stores four of the eleven Japanese Festival Floats that are used in the Takayama Spring and Autumn Festivals. The Floats are around 3 stories high.
