After your morning breakfast we will head over to Tokyo Station and catch a Bullet Train (Shinkansen) for Nagano. Once we reach Nagano we will check in at our "Temple Lodgings", have some time for lunch and then visit Zenkoji Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in Japan.

Nagano (Area): Nagano City is the capital of Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The city grew around the temple Zenko-ji, one of Japan's most important and popular temples. In 1998 the Olympic Winter Games were held in Nagano.
Zenko-ji (Temple): Zenko-ji is one of Japan's most important Buddhist temples because it stores the FIRST Buddhist statue ever to be brought into Japan.
