Single Travellers and Japanese Style Accommodations

The major concern with Single Travellers is that most all Japanese Style Accommodations (Ryokans, Minshukus, Shukobo, etc.) DO NOT HAVE SINGLE ROOMS. Furthermore a "Single Traveller" DOES NOT receive a discount to stay in a standard double room. There are 3 ways a Single Traveller can handle this situation:

• Have us change all the planned "Japanese Accommodations" to a "Western Style" hotel which has a single room. The major disadvantage here being that you will miss out on the "Japanese Accommodation Experience".
• Find another single you can share a room with.
• Pay full price of a "Double Occupancy" room and stay in it by yourself.
